Historical Solutions

Electric Terminal Tractor

Lonestar SV embarked on a mission in 2019 to provide a solution to internal combustion terminal tractors. Observing the amount of downtime customers were encountering with Tier 4 emissions equipment, a solution had to be provided. This was the drive force behind that development of the Lonestar SV Reman line of electric terminal tractors. Lonestar SV deployed the first electric T22 November 25, 2019.

Glider Solutions

Starting in 2014 Lonestar SV embarked on a mission to decrease our customers downtime, with affordable solutions. Through the final stage assembly of Class 8 Glider kits Lonestar SV was able to provide our customers with a solution that increased their up time and helped reduce the complexity of managing a fleet. From 2014 through 2019 Lonestar SV assembled and deployed more than 2,800 Class 8 trucks and tractors.

Remanufactured Terminal Tractors

In an effort to extended the useful life of customers equipment, Lonestar SV started remanufacturing terminal tractors (yard spotters, hostlers, shunters). Through this program Lonestar SV is able to provide a like new product with warranties comparable to that of a new terminal tractor, at 70% cost reduction. Over the past 5 years Lonestar SV has delivered more than 350 remanufactured terminal tractors.

Truck Body Installation

Lonestar SV began installing truck bodies in 2018, with a primary focus on roll off hoist bodies and dry van boxes. From initial truck spec to body installation Lonestar SV can handle it all.
